Ghost in the Sound Stage

Director, Writer, Editor

A short comedy film about two college students, Liam and Josh, hunting for a ghost. Liam is skeptical but Josh is determined to prove the existence of the ghost, no matter the cost.

I worked on this film from start to finish, including writing the script, organizing the set, directing cast and crew, and editing. I got to work on a professional sound stage with a crew and cast of 10 people total.

This was a wonderful experience that also helped me narrow down what aspects of film I enjoy working on more.

What Am I Doing?

Director, Writer, Editor

A short analog film with direct animation filmed with a Bolex Camera.

This film explores the importance of activism but also the overwhelming exhaustion around current events.

This idea was born out of my crushing feeling of helplessness that overtakes me at times but also a reminder of why we still need to celebrate in times of despair and why we fight.

Presque à Portée de Main

Director, Cinematographer, Writer

The French saying roughly translates into “Almost at hand” and represents the idea of almost having something within reach.

The story centers around a long distance relationship that consumes the main character. This film is my own reflection on what matters most in relationships and whether a virtual prescence can replace a physical one.

This film was very difficult for me to make and forced me to think creatively in the face of limited crew and resources.

Rainy Day

Director, Writer

A short commentary piece about the genocide in Gaza and the cost of being a bystander. This piece was born out of feeling stuck and helpless, unable to do anything meaningful. This piece is a reminder to others and myself stop saving for a rainy day and to act now.

This was a passion project created completely on my own in my room. I had felt completely stuck, both artistically and emotionally, and just felt like I had to do something in response to the atrocities being committed.
